DEVELOPMENT
The design and development of plastic parts and injection moulded tools for series production is essentially done in close consultation with our clients. We provide comprehensive support from the early days of product development by offering appropriate material and finishing suggestions for component geometry, taking into account the technical possibilities of tooling and machine technology.
All parts are designed in collaboration between the construction/development team and the injection moulding, electroplating, post-processing and quality planning departments, so that the specific requirements of both the manufacturing process and the customer are integrated into the design of parts and tools. Part designs can be tested by means of prototypes (SLT, SLA, etc.). Injection moulding simulations make it possible to optimise gate connection, flow channels and part qualities.
We use Creo to design and build parts and injection moulding tools. Data can be transferred in the interface formats IGES, STEP, VDA and DXF, DWG – conversion tools enable CAD data to be read and written in Catia V4 and V5. All projects are planned and managed, with regular project updates communicated to our clients. The data transfer can be done via Odette, email, FTP, individual clouds or data carriers.
