The production of operating panels and other front elements for household appliances such as washing machines is a challenge not just for production expertise with regards to injection moulding, plastics milling, printing, assembly and ultrasonic welding, but also in terms of managing the variety of models in line with the associated complexity of internal processes.

“CONTROL PANEL”
The plastic “control panel” is moulded in grey ABS.
Depending on the model, the control panel is milled in different ways (CNC-controlled milling on a tandem milling machine with special plastic milling tools at a rotational speed of up to 40,000 RPM).
The printing (pad printing) is carried out in two separate work steps.
Various attachments are added.
The light guides and the window are welded ultrasonically.
Next, other attachments are added to complete the control panel.
