LASER TECHNOLOGY
Laser technology at KTB – In our laser production we process parts that have been electroplated in such a way that no chrome or metal layers are deposited onto the prescribed symbols during the final coating. This makes it possible to create very fine symbols as well as lines and highly precise lettering which can then be Illuminated for the night design. Another special feature is our Hidden Line process which we use to create structures that are virtually invisible by day yet Illuminated in the dark. Partial and full automation is used in this area and quality monitoring is carried out via camera inspection. Our lettering fields go up to 600 mm x 600 mm. We use 5 laser systems, 2 precision lasers and 2 fully automatic machines. Various laser technologies and applications are protected by our own patent or utility model rights.

Lasers for Symbols
Laser technology enables us to create a whole range of different symbols. Line thicknesses down to 0.1 mm are possible. We also offer the option of creating flexible variations on the same moulded parts.
Hidden Line
With the help of our precision lasers we can create the finest structures and highly precise lettering. As a result it is possible to create a pattern that is virtually invisible in the day design yet can be Illuminated in the night design.
